Dr. Lou visited the San Diego Christian Fellowship pastored by Rev. Steve Houston. Steve was a former Converge missionary to the Philippines. Dr. Lou spoke at the Sunday worship service using John 6:1-14 as the text for the message, “What if we give all.” After enjoying a fellowship lunch, 40 people attended a Simple Will Seminar led by Dr. Lou.
Eleven years ago, Dr. Lou was asked by then Pastor Epp to thank the congregation for giving their property to SDCF. There were 12 former members of the dwindling congregation. Today there are only 3 members of that very generous group who still attend SDCF. Brother Epp is now a missionary to the Philippines. He and his family are home in San Diego on sabbatical for the next year. Please pray for both campuses of SDCF as they seek God’s blessing as they look to reach their respective communities for Christ.
